World Diabetic Day
Inauguration of RVM DIABETIC CENTRE on 14th Nov 2024
On the occasion of World Diabetes Day 2024, the Department of General Medicine of RVM Charitable Trust Hospital proudly inaugurated the RVM Diabetic Centre (RDC), a specialized facility aimed at enhancing the care and management of individuals living with diabetes. The inauguration ceremony was attended by esteemed dignitaries Dr. R. Yakaiah, Chairman of RVMIMS & RC, Dr. T. Srinivas, Medical Superintendent of the hospital and Dr. O. Shravan, Dean of the institution, along with the Heads of Departments (HODs) from various clinical specialties. The event was a testament to the hospital's commitment to advancing diabetes care and promoting awareness of the condition's management, with active participation from all hospital departments.
As part of the World Diabetes Day observance, the hospital organized a community health initiative that provided free consultations, investigations, and medications to all patients who attended on that day. The program was designed to raise awareness about diabetes, encourage early detection, and ensure access to necessary healthcare services for individuals managing diabetes and its related complications.
