World Health Day - 2024

World Health Day will be celebrated every year on April 7th. The theme of world health day 2024 is "My Health, My Right".

To observe world health day 2024 department of community medicine organized a 2 day "Mega Health Camp" in mahatma jyothiba phule telangana BC welfare residential degree collage for women in wargal, siddipet district.

As a part of celebration our department organized health education to improve the awareness of adolescent degree college students. Health education was given by Dr. K. Ramyatha (on personal Hygiene and its importance) by Dr. K. Christina (on Reproductive health and Menstonal hygiene) and by Dr. A. Jagadeep (on Mental health and PCOD).

Health talk was followed by a mega health camp by various specialties which included General Medicine, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dermatology, Gynecologist and Obstetrics, Psychiatry. All the 1000 adolescent students were examined and screened. Management was done accordingly some students who needed further management were referred to RVMIMS & RC Medical College Laxmakkapally.
